Roberts meringue buttercream mix is a silky smooth icing that has a lovely subtle vanilla flavour that melts in the mouth without any gritty or sugary aftertaste.

Roberts Edible Craft silky icing meringue buttercream mix has been developed and manufactured in Australia.

Roberts Confectionery meringue buttercream mix recipe, has been designed to enable the home baker to achieve a consistent, and quick result as close to a Swiss Meringue Buttercream style made from scratch.

There is no need to boil or cook the meringue buttercream mixture beforehand, you just add water and mix and then add diced butter and mix again.

In order to achieve a whiter and more stable meringue buttercream, vegetable creaming shortening (Solite) can also be substituted instead of butter, or used in a combination of both. This meringue buttercream mix can also be flavoured and coloured.

400g of Dry Mix, will easily cover a 8" Round cake, or enough to ice 24 cupcakes.

Was easy to make, made it with 1/2 butter , 1/2 Solite Shortening. Was nice to work with.
